Crowns--improve your smile and health

Crowns

Also called caps, crowns, inlays and onlays, are dental restorations that are inserted in or on a tooth when other procedures like bonding simply aren’t enough to restore your tooth’s strength. Typically made of porcelain, inlays and onlays resemble a partial crown. An inlay replaces a filling while onlays are usually used to cover more of the tooth’s surface.
If you have worn-down fillings, crowns, inlays or onlays can preserve the remaining tooth. Porcelain crowns are quite similar to porcelain veneers. However, while veneers cover the front of the tooth, crowns most often cover the entire tooth.
Crowns restore your tooth’s strength and beauty, enhancing your overall smile.
